  • Overview

    Allied Beverage Group is seeking a Front-Desk Coordinator for our brand new state of the art location in Elizabeth, NJ. As a Front-Desk Coordinator, you will greet associates, visitors, vendors and represent the company brand to all who pass through the main lobby of the building. The successful candidate must possess a professional demeanor, the ability to balance a myriad of daily tasks, and display superior communication abilities. In addition, this position involves support for quick and effective response to associates, security, facilities and other related service needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Attends to visitors by greeting, directing and announcing them appropriately.
    • Answers calls, greets associates, supports inquiries and all front-desk operations.
    • Provides assistance with directions and taxi/shuttle arrangements.
    • Provides friendly, cordial, and exceptional customer service for the business.
    • Acts as the steward for all general building security desk operations.
    • Supports and assists the VP of Operations and the Director of Security.
    • Directly supports security access control and visitor management; Internal and external customer relations.
    • Fosters and maintains strong relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
    • Ensures compliance with company policies and processes.
    • Troubleshoots problems, gaps in services, and recommends solutions to the Security Director.
    • Serves as key member of a site building/crisis response team.
    • Handles other lobby security desk duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     The Ideal Candidate:

    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in access control and security operations
    • At least one year of executive assistant experience.
    • A minimum of one (2) reception or concierge experience  
    • Prior experience working within the hospitality or professional office environment
    • Experience using an access control program, including but not limited to creating ID cards, enrolling new employees, monitoring access door etc
    • Experience operating a CCTV program.

    • Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
    • Ability to work effectively under high stress situations
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Active listening skills
    • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
    • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
    • Attention to detail
    • Spanish speaking a plus
    • Be able to work flexible schedules
