Allied Beverage Group, the largest wine and spirits distributor in the State of New Jersey is looking for a Purchasing Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Carlstadt, NJ office.
The Purchasing Administrative Assistant must compile and maintain information and records to prepare purchase orders; edit purchase requests and prepares purchase orders; consult catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications; maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries. The incumbent must also perform related clerical duties such as contacting vendors and suppliers for quotations, and following up on outstanding purchase orders. The incumbent but be able to apply standard formulas to calculate extensions and discount applications, process sample invoices, process distressed, rework and breakage adjustments following though to all aspects of tax destruction.
