  • Overview

    Allied Beverage Group, is looking for Sales Representatives to support North, Central and South NJ territories.  This position will be based out of our Elizabeth office.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales calls on a pre-determined route (route schedule); meet with account representatives on a regular basis; work with supplier representatives to promote sales; solicit new business to increase revenue and distribution within route territory 
    • Effectively plan on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, in order to meet quotas and distribution objectives to increase market share, space allocation and customer service
    • Analyze the total territory and each account to determine the priority selling and merchandising opportunities 
    • Prepare and present professional sales presentations to the retailer
    • Keep up to date on company brands and competitive brand pricing, install point of sale materials within accounts, while working towards ensuring products are maintained in clean and current condition
    • Communicate through voicemail, email and proper follow through on issues deemed important to management, our customers and suppliers; ensure all required documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
    • Be present and punctual for mandatory sales meetings and brand kick-offs
    • Comply with all company rules including but not limited to credit, collections and warehouse policy and procedure
    • Report on issues related to the competitive market and offer constructive suggestions

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2 years selling experience
    • Ideal candidate will have established relationships with on and off premise wine and spirit accounts in the state of New Jersey
    • Have ability to build market share in existing accounts, but also prospect new accounts to open.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and IPad use
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
    • Must be able to apply for and be approved for a  Solicitor's Permit
    • Must be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds on a regular basis
