  • Overview

    The Security Coordinator is responsible for the administration and execution of the day-to-day security access control systems (S2 NET VR), CCTV reviews, alarm monitoring, and maintenance of equipment and systems. The incumbent of this role focuses on the issuance of access cards and access control operations to include: creating and printing badges, data processing, and creation of reports, ordering supplies, standardization, and quality control. The Security Coordinator is expected to complete security checks, and patrols as required. The incumbent also acts as a back up to the Front Desk Coordinator.

    Responsibilities

    • Creating and Maintaining reports for Access Control, Security, and Safety. Reviewing CCTV footage for loss prevention and ensuring deliveries.
    • Will be responsible for relieving the Front Desk Coordinator during breaks, lunch, and 4pm-6pm daily. Back up Front Desk Coordinator as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and up to date employee, training and incident logs.
    • Administrative duties as required by VP of Security, DOT Manager, and Safety Director.

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

    • Must possess a college degree in criminal justice or security management related studies.

     

    Training and/or Experience:

    • Must possess a minimum of 5 years security experience in a corporate setting.
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency.
    • High level of competency with Microsoft office and CCTV system.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of professionals.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
